Summary

Power interruptions and outdated service equipment can leave a home vulnerable to electrical problems. For this project, the homeowner needed a full 200-amp service replacement, including a new utility-grade pole, exterior meter combo, and upgraded interior panel. Our goal was to provide a safer, more reliable electrical system that could support modern household needs.

The Work

Removed the old service pole and installed a new utility-approved pole for stable 200-amp service
Set up a new 200-amp meter/main combo, upgraded grounding, and added a whole-home surge protector
Installed new service entrance conductors, weatherhead, and made all connections to current code
Replaced the interior panel with a new 200-amp panelboard, updated breakers, and reorganized all circuits
Managed all permitting, inspection, and coordination with the utility provider

The Outcome

The upgraded service improved both safety and capacity throughout the property. With new equipment and proper grounding, the electrical system now meets current code and is ready for future upgrades or additional appliances. The final inspection was passed, confirming everything was installed to modern standards.
