Summary

Outdoor outlets get a lot of use and can be vulnerable to weather and wear. We were called to a home in Newberry to find out why a GFCI outlet wouldn't reset, and to address a loose exterior electrical box.

The Work

Inspected the GFCI circuit to diagnose why it would not reset
Tested for common failure points and checked for moisture or wiring issues
Secured the exterior electrical box to the siding for improved stability

The Outcome

After the visit, the homeowner had a safer, more reliable outdoor outlet. Properly securing the box and addressing the GFCI issue helped reduce future risks and provided peace of mind about using the exterior power safely.
