Summary

This home needed a complete electrical panel upgrade due to aging equipment and the need for modern safety features. Outdated panels and wiring posed safety risks and limited the home's ability to support newer appliances.

The Work

Removed old exterior and interior 200-amp panels and replaced with new, code-compliant equipment
Installed a new 2-inch overhead service riser, weatherhead, and all required supports on the existing service pole
Transferred and organized branch circuits, reconnected with new breakers, and provided updated circuit labeling
Added whole-home surge protection, two new 8-foot ground rods, and an intersystem bonding bridge for communications
Installed a dedicated 20-amp, 240V circuit for a window AC unit
Coordinated permit, utility disconnect/reconnect, and passed electrical inspection

The Outcome

The home's electrical system is now safer and ready for future needs. There is improved surge protection, clearer circuit labeling, and reliable power for essential equipment. The new panels and dedicated circuits bring the home up to code and support modern demands.
